Love Island USA‘s Yulissa Escobar told TMZ she suffered a concussion after being savagely struck by another woman in Miami.

Yulissa and a pal went to LIV nightclub in Miami Beach before making their way to Taco Bell, as one does. According to the Miami Beach Police Department’s report, the season 7 Love Island USA contestant was waiting for her order.
A male approached and started making “inappropriate remarks toward her,” which she told cops she ignored. The report stated that a female accompanying the male became agitated and struck Yulissa on her right cheek. Police said the couple then left the scene in a white Mercedes.
Yulissa said she ended up in the hospital, where doctors determined she suffered a concussion. She’s resting at home now and taking a break from the internet.
The Miami Beach Police is actively investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made.
Is this Love Island backlash?
Yulissa speculated the assault may be related to the backlash she received during her short time on reality TV, but she isn’t sure.
Since getting removed from the show for racism, she’s now “walking in fear,” constantly worried she may be in harm’s way.
ICYMI, Yulissa exited Love Island before the second episode of Season 7 aired. Videos surfaced online showing her using a disgusting racial slur while discussing her drama with men.
She apologized for her actions on social media, explaining she used the word ignorantly.
