Vasana Montgomery’s time on Love Island USA appears to be over before it even began.
According to TMZ, just days after the season 8 cast was announced, videos began circulating online that allegedly show Vasana using the N-word.
In one clip, the prospective Islander appears to use the slur while rapping along to a song.
In another, she is heard saying it while a friend plays an arcade game.
Production sources told the outlet that viewers will not see Vasana on the show despite her being announced as part of the cast.
Also, sources claimed production was unaware of the videos since they were originally posted to a private account.
The clips reportedly did not become public until after the cast was revealed on May 28.
ICYMI: On May 27, the official Love Island USA Instagram account shared a message reminding fans to keep the conversation respectful throughout the season.
“This is a space for fun, not negativity — so keep it kind, keep it positive, and remember: this is LOVE Island.”
Season 8 of Love Island USA, hosted by Ariana Madix, premieres June 2 on Peacock!
