Former Real Housewives of New Jersey personality, Kim DePaola, was named as a witness in the lawsuit between Teresa Giudice’s husband, Louie Ruelas, and his ex-fiancée, Vanessa Reiser.
Us Weekly obtained court documents that Kim D. “is at the center of an argument in the case.”
Kim D.’s involvement:
Vanessa claimed Louie accused her of talking about him to Kim D. She denied the claims that she did anything wrong.
ICYMI, Louie and Vanessa broke up in late 2020 after two years together. A couple of months after the split, Louie filed legal documents against Vanessa. He “demanded she give the engagement ring back while detailing issues over money.”
Vanessa filed a counterclaim denying all claims of wrongdoing. Additionally, she accused Louie of being “controlling and causing harm to her business.” Both parties deny all allegations of wrongdoing.
In July 2020, the exes reached a deal where Louie kept the engagement ring, and both parties were ordered not to make derogatory statements to third parties. Four years later, Louie filed new court documents accusing Vanessa of violating the court order. He claimed she posted defamatory content on social media and asked that she be found in contempt.
Vanessa’s lawyer denied the claims. He said, “each and every exhibit he has used to allegedly establish a violation, and to establish and alleged contempt, has been refuted and disputed by [Vanessa].
There is no evidence to establish she violated the consent order; nor is there any proof that [Louie] was damaged in any way.” In court documents, Vanessa portrayed Louie as “controlling.”
Louie said Kim DePaola is a “crucial witness in the case” and denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
