Bravo TV and Hulu star Lisa Vanderpump rules West Hollywood’s SUR, where Vanderpump Rules is filmed, and TomTom, which is “open … for now.”
TMZ caught up with Lisa, who boasted about her latest venture. LVP is not only a restaurateur but also a hotelier, as she owns The Vanderpump Hotel in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas “is fantastic. It’s the playground of America. Trust me. I go and see everything there. We don’t have life like that in LA.”
Although Lisa became a household name for her WeHo hotspots, she’s focused elsewhere. “Pump closed years ago. The lease expired. So, you make a decision.”
“We’ve been opening everywhere else – Tahoe, Arizona, Vegas. California’s not the best for businesses.”
Lisa continued, “TomTom is still open. For now. Who knows? I’ve had 40 restaurants and a hotel. It’s a lot.”
In case you missed the news about the ‘Pump’ and ‘TomTom’ brands, both are on the market. The intellectual rights are available, allowing for a potential sale that could keep the restaurant operating in its current location. The listing read, “Own the iconic TomTom and Pump brands with over a decade of national exposure.”
Despite the name, former VPR stars Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz each own a 5% stake in the TomTom restaurant and bar. The remaining 90% is owned by Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, alongside their other partners.
LVP wrapped up her chat with the pap, reminding them of the most meaningful work she does … “Dog rescue – that’s my passion.” Never forget Lisa’s iconic Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 6 tagline, “I’m passionate about dogs, just not crazy about bitches.”
