Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna wants to see her daughters, Delilah Hamlin and Amelia Hamlin, in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom competing for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
Rinna opened up about her daughters potentially joining DWTS with PEOPLE. “Can you imagine?” she asked. “I would love to see that.”
The Days of Our Lives alum knows firsthand just how transformative the DWTS experience can be. Lisa competed on Season 2 of the show in 2006, dancing with professional partner Louis van Amstel.
At the time, Rinna had recently welcomed baby Amelia, and she credits the experience with helping her rediscover herself. “I needed something to, like, shake me out of whatever I was in. I think what it does is it just opens you up.”
For Lisa, that meant gaining confidence and letting loose “It freed me. Then your confidence is up, and you just have fun.”
Rinna has nothing but positive memories from her time on Dancing With the Stars, calling it “life-changing” and saying it was “the greatest thing” she has ever done. “I had a blast,” she added. “So it was just life-changing for the better.”
In case you forgot, Rinna competed on Season 2 of DWTS alongside former professional dancer Louis van Amstel. She was the seventh celebrity eliminated that season, making her one of the most successful Real Housewives to compete on the show.
