Own it – Lisa Rinna told Entertainment Tonight how being on The Traitors US stacked up next to her experience on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Rinna on her time filming The Traitors:
The Days of Our Lives alum ventured into the Scottish castle with “absolutely no strategy.”
“I come on as a freaking housewife,” began Rinna. “They label you, so I get labeled into the housewife category.” Noting how different the gamers are from the ‘wives, Lisa continued, “There are people that go out and survive the Survivor wilderness for forty days and the Big Brother house. They’re so hardcore. They know exactly what they’re doing.”
“Then there’s me … Lisa mimicked herself nonchalantly smoking, “Hi. What are we doing? Where’s my drink? Oh wait, I have to do that and be physical and carry sh*t?!'”
“It was so fun, though. I love to do things that take me our of my comfort zone and, honey, that took me way out. But, I made some really good friends. I love these people. They’re all so different. We all come from completely different walks of life and it’s fun.”
Lisa found common ground in filming RHOBH and The Traitors:
“It’s a game,” explained Rinna.
“That’s what’s fun about it – it’s not toxic; it’s not negative; it’s not dark … it’s a game. We’re playing a game. It’s fun. It’s hard, though.”
“Housewives is emotionally and mentally very difficult.”
“This is emotionally and physically hard. This is hard. They’re are people lying everywhere. You can’t trust anybody. Nobody.”
“So, it’s kinda like housewives.”
Lisa concluded, “It was really a good time, and I can’t wait for people to see it.”
