Lindsay Hubbard doesn’t care about the backlash she’s receiving for choosing to stay in the apartment she once shared with her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke.
“Let’s be honest, this apartment was always my apartment,” Lindsay said on the Summer House After Show. “I found it, loved it, and wanted it.”
The influencer attempted to find another apartment but figured the moving costs would equate to her absorbing Carl’s portion of the rent.
“So, I decided by March to stay in that apartment. By April I found out I was pregnant.”
Lindsay recalled feeling anxious about how she would afford pregnancy, and her expensive rent. But at the same time, the extra bedroom was perfect for a nursery.
Ultimately, the new mom looks forward to creating new memories in place of the more traumatic ones.
“Present day as I sit here, that guy is such a distant memory in this apartment,” she said.
“There’s so many new memories, with my daughter, that I will just always hold and cherish.”
