Layla Taylor has confirmed the rumors that she and her boyfriend, Mason McWhorter, have officially called it quits.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star took to TikTok to address the speculation after fans noticed the former couple had wiped each other from their social media accounts and unfollowed one another.
“I mean, I think it’s kinda obvious and everyone’s kinda noticed,” Layla began in the video, shared on Feb. 7.
Layla said her main motivation for speaking out was to set the record straight and avoid any negative narratives being spread about Mason online.
“It’s still super fresh,” she shared through tears.
“There’s no bad blood between us. I genuinely want and wish nothing but the best for Mason,” Layla reiterated.

Ultimately, the split came down to the pair being on “two different paths.”
Reading between the lines, it appears Mason made the decision to end the relationship in order to continue growing and evolving on his own.
“This was the first relationship since my marriage where I actually thought it would work out,” Layla continued.
“Mason was such a part of me and my boys’ lives for almost a year.”
She also revealed the breakup has been especially difficult for her two sons, who had grown close to Mason.
ICYMI: Layla was previously married to Clayton Wessel for three years before divorcing in 2023.
She has described the marriage as “very toxic.” The former couple share two children, Oliver and Maxwell, and have finalized a joint custody arrangement.
Layla concluded her video by announcing she’ll be taking a brief social media hiatus as she processes the breakup and sits with her emotions.
