The friendship saga between Lala Kent and Scheana Shay is unraveling in real time.
On October 3, Scheana Shay released a podcast episode telling her side of the feud with Lala.
At first, her frustration seemed rooted in Lala’s lack of book promo before the New York Times best seller deadline.
While Lala eventually posted, Scheana said the support was minimal—a single cover shot and tag—far from the push she expected from her bestie.
But Scheana claimed the real betrayal cut deeper: Lala allegedly told their once-mutual friend Jenna Willis about Brock’s affair before Scheana had the chance to reveal it herself.
Jenna, who had been a friend for over a decade, reportedly shared the news with other Valley cast members, leaving Scheana blindsided.
To make matters worse, Scheana alleged Lala “cussed her out” in front of their kids, which she called the final straw in their unraveling friendship.
Lala clapped back on her Instagram stories, slamming Scheana’s version of events as “f*cking insufferable.”
“She claims I cussed her out in front of my kid—she wasn’t in my car,” Lala explained.
According to her, the heated call happened when she parked outside a sushi spot with daughter Ocean.
“Before I even got her out of the car, I called Scheana and basically said, ‘you pull that sh-t again, I’ll f-ck your whole world up.’”
Lala doubled down, insisting Ocean didn’t hear the blow-up—and threw shade of her own, accusing Scheana of cursing in front of her daughter, Summer Moon.
Where They Stand Now
On her podcast, Scheana admitted she isn’t sure this is a friendship worth saving.
She feels walked over, underappreciated, and says she doesn’t get anything out of maintaining the relationship.
But since their Palm Springs homes literally share a wall, they better figure it out, and quickly.
Or else, someone is going to have to move and as Lala said on her podcast, it won’t be her!
