Kyle Cooke is shutting down the rumor mill surrounding his and his Summer House castmates’ love lives.
Over the weekend, DeuxMoi shared an anonymous tip claiming Amanda Batula and West Wilson were secretly hooking up.
The Bravo community largely wrote off the rumor.
But the following day, the same gossip account posted a photo of Kyle holding hands with Next Gen NYC cast member Ava Dash at a restaurant table.
That rumor seemed a tad more believable, especially with photo evidence.
Still, Kyle denied everything during the March 10 episode of Watch What Happens Live.
“That was a very friendly dinner,” Kyle told Danny Pellegrino after being asked if he was dating the reality newcomer.
“We were at a family dinner, doing a family blessing holding hands.”
When Andy Cohen asked who exactly the “family” was, the DJ quipped:
“It was just a random drinking day in New York.”
As for the rumors about Amanda and West, Kyle called them “outrageous” and admitted he was surprised people entertained the speculation for as long as they did.
Ultimately, he said he “doesn’t think there’s any merit to it.”
Andy pressed Kyle further, asking how he’d feel if the rumor about West and his estranged wife turned out to be true.
“It would feel a little reckless. I’d probably be the last person people would be worried about,” Kyle replied awkwardly.
“I think Ciara would have something to say.”
