Kim DePaola spilled alleged casting tea about Real Housewives of New Jersey and a potential spinoff (or spinoffs).
The long-time friend of the RHONJ cast told OK Magazine what casting allegedly has in store.
RHONJ casting update, per Kim D:
“Moves have been made to retain some of the cast, while others have been let go for good.”
Kim alleged, “The women were all officially released from their contracts due to it having been six months since they wrapped any filming related to RHONJ. Due to this, they are technically let go.”
“What I can tell you, though is that three of the women were given letters by the network to keep them engaged/as a token of good faith to show they’re still interested in working with them.”
This isn’t necessarily for RHONJ, but they will be working with three of the women in some capacity going forward.”
No decisions will be made in the near future, as per Kim D. “Bravo and Andy Cohen have repeatedly said, nothing will be decided in terms of RHONJ until 2026.”
“All of their shows for this year are mapped out, and RHONJ is not factored into that.”
“Of course” Teresa Giudice would return to RHONJ if asked:
Teresa staked her claim on RHONJ during an appearance on the Bonded by Bravo podcast. The mother of four dorters declared she would “definitely” return to RHONJ.
“Of course, I’m going to go back. I started it. I feel like, you know, there’s still a lot in me. So, yeah, I’ll definitely go back.”
When asked if Teresa has gotten any updates from the network, she answered, “Not yet, not yet. Yeah, not yet. But, I heard it’s coming soon, you know.”

Teresa’s estranged sister-in-law was a guest on Sherri Shepherd‘s show and addressed the RHONJ “reboot rumors.”
“I’m hoping we’ll get some news about Real Housewives of New Jersey sooner than later. We were told we would get news after the New Year. So, I do think they are working on it right now.”
“They’re definitely talking about bringing in some new girls. I assume they’re gonna keep some familiar faces.”
