Kelsea Ballerini may have “baggage,” but it’s not with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover.
The country music artist appeared on Cosmopolitan’s Youtube show, Cheap Shots.
Kelsea was asked about her season 2, episode 11 cameo on Southern Charm. How much did she bid to win a coveted date with Craig Conover?
Plot twist — the date never happened and she had no idea she was “bidding.”
“Oh God, It haunts me forever,” Kelsea teased before finally revealing the tea behind that iconic moment.
Kelsea was on radio tour, and happened to be performing on the same boat that Southern Charm was also filming on that night.
Unbeknownst to her, her record label set up for her to win the date. They pushed her into the frame to accept it, and then auctioned the date off to a winner on the radio station. All in the name of charity.
So there you have it folks…she never went on the date!
“Everything is great as it turns out,” Kelsea jokes when a producer off camera mentioned she’s probably better off.
“Sorry to this man,” she closed off the segment.
