Former Real Housewives of Orange County personality Kelly Dodd shared a message that seemed to be about her daughter, Jolie, with whom she has been publicly feuding.
An Instagram post originally made by Vsevolod Gorobets spoke about the “most devoted parents” having the “most ungrateful children.”
The post claimed, “The more you give a child with no effort on their part, the less they feel its value. Love turns into background noise rather than a gift.”
“When everything is already there, it creates the sense that this is how the world works. It’s not ingratitude, it’s a lack of contrast. Without loss or limits, a person simply builds a sense of a resource’s value.”
“Loving your child and draining yourself are not the same thing. Caring for your child shouldn’t mean not caring for you at all.”
ICYMI, Kelly said that Jolie was “brainwashed” into being “woke” while studying abroad during a podcast interview in June. Kelly blamed college for the change in Jolie, despite her “wonderful upbringing.”
“She went to Paris and got woke. I’m serious. I’m dead serious. It’s not even a joke.” Kelly claimed her college sophomore daughter could be getting “brainwashed” as she studies in France.
“[She’s] getting woke, getting indoctrinated. It’s a socialist country. It became that. You get brainwashed in college. They get brainwashed. [The colleges are] all left-leaning.”
According to Kelly, Jolie “doesn’t believe in ICE” and gets into arguments with her mom about human rights. “She won’t let you talk. She won’t listen,” Kelly claimed. “We got in a fight, and she went to her dad’s. She hasn’t lived with her dad [Michael] ever. She’s always lived with me. I raised her.”
