Tamra Judge ‘quitting’ Real Housewives of Orange County is fake according to Kelly Dodd.
I was a guest on Up And Adam‘s Hot Messy Topics on YouTube, and the host, Adam Newell, called Kelly to get insight into how Real Housewives contracts work.
ICYMI: Tamra quit RHOC while filming a cast trip in New Orleans last night!
Kelly called Tamra’s bluff:
“Of course,” Tamra quitting is fake. “We sign contracts. She has a million dollars at stake.”
Kelly continued, “She’s doing it for publicity … she doesn’t have a storyline. What’s her story? It brings people to want to watch [RHOC]. It’s all manipulation.”
Bravo TV personalities “sign contracts,” Kelly reiterated. “She has to go through her contract. She’s already been sued before. Bravo could sue her. Those contracts are so one-sided that she will 100% NOT give up a million dollars. It’s ridiculous she wrote that.”
Kelly detailed a possible outcome to Tamra quitting:
“I hope Bravo fines her. We all got fined,” explained Kelly. “Teresa Giudice has been fined. Shannon Beador has been fined. We’ve all been fined.”
“But, for [Tamra] to do this publicly, I hope to God that Bravo fines her for this. She’s so fake, and she wants attention. Even if she’s crushing it with Vena CBD, she’s not going to give up a million dollars.”
I asked Kelly on which grounds Tamra would get fined. Kelly doesn’t know as she doesn’t even understand why she was fined in the past. “They never told me,” revealed the former RHOC star.
“I wore that Drunk Wives Matter hat” on her Instagram story, but “I didn’t do anything on the show.” Kelly clarified, “What I got fined for was on Instagram. I asked them, ‘Can you give me a tally of why I was charged $16,000?'”
“Nope,” they responded. So, “I saw an attorney. They looked at my contract, and they’re like, ‘Yeah. Bravo can take as much money as they want from you. You signed this contract.'”
The network “could come after her.” While – at the end of the day – “It was for attention. She doesn’t have a storyline. It’s all manipulation. She’s all about manipulation.”
“Bravo’s contracts are pretty one-sided. You can’t just quit in the middle of a season.”
What Kelly thinks went down while visiting down south:
Tamra “can’t take anybody criticizing her or coming after her. She’s a bully. But, when she gets bullied, she can’t handle it.”
“She’ll cool off. This is a very toxic environment. Being on these shows is toxic. It’s bullying, it’s horrible! When someone comes after you, you do feel like you want to quit. At the moment, she probably had it. She’s impulsive and wrote that.”
