Real Housewives of Potomac alum Katie Rost entered treatment following a drug-induced seizure, as per her husband via a message on social media.
“My wife is in treatment. I have her phone. TY, for the messages,” wrote her husband. “I can’t answer for her. I’m upset. She is okay – gets out of detox soon,” he wrote before deleting the post.
“She took MDMA and started having a seizure.”
Katie’s husband continued, “She had already planned to go in, but that happened. The people who have footage, please don’t share it.”
“Like she would say #respect,” he alleged.
In a third tweet, he wrote, “All that matters. She is okay.”
Katie was one of the original Real Housewives of Potomac alongside Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, and Charrisse Jackson. Later, she appeared as a ‘friend of’ the main cast in Seasons 2 and 4 and made guest appearances in Season 7.
Since her departure from the show, Katie faced several challenges with her personal life, including a dark custody battle over her three kids with ex-husband Dr. James Orsini and a battle with addiction.
In July 2025, the mother of three revealed she married the “love of [her] life,” whom she claimed encouraged her to “get help and stay off social media.”
