Karen Huger has officially been released from the clankity clank!
The Real Housewives of Potomac grand dame was originally sentenced to serve two years in prison — with one year suspended — following her DUI conviction.
In addition, she was fined $2,900, received five years of probation with a required interlock device, and had her driver’s license suspended for a year once released.
But as of September 2 at 10 AM EST, Karen is out after just six months behind bars at the Montgomery County Detention Center in Maryland.
And of course, boots on the ground confirmed that Bravo cameras, news outlets, and fans were gathered outside awaiting her release.
This naturally has fans wondering: will Karen’s return make it into The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10?
The season 10 trailer already teased Karen’s absence — with Gizelle Bryant cheekily penning a “get well soon” style letter to her frenemy.
But if history has taught us anything, Bravo loves to pick cameras back up when breaking news happens.
Don’t be surprised if we see a brand-new package later this season of Karen re-acclimating to Potomac life, post-clank.
