Real Housewives of Atlanta star K. Michelle was a guest at iHeartRadio Manhattan HQ, and it was reported that radio host Angela Yee was kept away from the singer due to their long-running feud.
According to reports from Page Six, when Michelle, who just announced her new country album Jesus & Whiskey, arrived at the Midtown offices, staff was told to keep her and Angela from crossing paths.
K. Michelle was placed in a different green room from the one other Breakfast Show guests typically use so that she would be further away from Angela’s studio.
The decade-old feud stemmed from K. Michelle’s press tour for her album, More Issues Than Vogue. During the appearance, K. Michelle confronted Angela about a rumor about K. Michelle’s intimate hygiene. The singer claimed that Angela had brought up the aromatic allegations, which is what got people talking in the first place.
K. Michelle jabbed a finger in Angela’s direction telling her what she did “was wrong, it was inappropriate, and [she] didn’t think.”
Angela has maintained that she never intended to embarrass the singer.
