Quincy’s statement:

“Hi, everyone. As an obituary was published yesterday, I want to take the opportunity to tell you all myself that my father passed away this month.”

“My family is navigating this together. I very much loved and admired my dad. I am so grateful for the love and care I have been shown in these past weeks.”

Quincy continued, “I took a break from work to navigate this loss. As I start to phase back into work and my community in the following weeks is the best contact for questions and communication from my brand partners is [email protected]. My manager has done her best to move campaigns and manage everything so that I could be present with my family.”

John Adams Morgan’s obituary:

The New York Times published the following words about the financier.

“The trustees, fellows, and staff of the Morgan Library & Museum mourn the passing of John Adams Morgan, a devoted trustee of the Morgan for over 34 years and longtime member of its Finance Committee.”

“Mr. Morgan’s close familial ties with the Morgan reached back to his great-grandfather J. Pierpont Morgan, whose remarkable collection forms the foundation of the institution.”

“John’s unwavering dedication to the Morgan’s mission to celebrate and share the history and process of human creativity will not be forgotten. We extend our deepest sympathies to Connie Morgan and all the members of the Morgan family.”

Don’t touch the Morgan letters!

John comes from a long, historic line of influential men. US Weekly reported, “He was a descendant of U.S. presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams as well as Charles Francis Adams III, who was the U.S. Secretary of the Navy under President Herbert Hoover. (All these connections are from his mother’s side of the family.)”

“His father, Henry Sturgis Morgan, was the cofounder of Morgan Stanley and his great-grandfather J.P. Morgan founded J.P. Morgan & Co.”

“John, meanwhile, competed at the 1952 Olympics where he won a gold medal in the six meter class sailing race. The following year, he graduated from Yale University. He went on to create his own investment banking firm, Morgan Joseph, which eventually merged with Tri-Artisan.”

Drop well wishes to Sonja and Quincy after the passing of John Adams Morgan below.
