Bozoma Saint John chatted about the “spicy” engagement gift the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Jimmy Fallon, sent her.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Boz revealed that the host sent her a “spicy” gift shortly after she announced her engagement to fiancé Keely Watson.
Jimmy’s gift:
Boz recalled Jimmy’s reaction to hearing she and Keely are engaged. “Congratulations!” exclaimed Jimmy. Boz added, “He’s so happy.”
The next day, Boz received a package from the late-night host … with a note!
“Congratulations, Boz and Keely! I wish you many years of happy marriage!’ And then in parentheses, it’s like, ‘Keep it spicy!’ Well, Jimmy’s been married a long time. He knows how to keep things spicy, so I’ll take the advice.”
Jimmy Fallon sent the Bravo star “four bowls of pepper soup.” He chimed in, “Hot, hot soup!”
The gift was inspired by a dinner the pair had at African restaurant Lagos in Times Square after Boz’s last appearance on The Tonight Show.
“We were there for three hours,” Saint John recalled. “We ate everything. And to Jimmy’s credit, he did eat everything I ordered for him, including the pepper soup. But he almost died.”
“It’s the hottest soup I’ve ever had,” Fallon added. “And I’ve been on Hot Ones. This is like Da Bomb [hot sauce] heated up and put in a bowl.”
Boz and Jimmy’s collab:
Jimmy teamed up with the businesswoman/RHOBH star on a new show, On Brand with Jimmy Fallon.
NBC reported On Brand will be “Hosted, created, and executive produced by the Tonight Show Host. On Brand will follow Fallon and ‘the most creative, clever, and competitive go-getters he can find.’ [Contestants will] team up to create winning marketing campaigns.’”
Collaborating with the comedian is fellow NBC star and bona fide marketing expert Bozoma Saint John to lend her expertise.
Jimmy revealed, “This show lets the audience and our contestants get a peek behind the curtain of how campaigns for some of the biggest brands come together.” Viewers will also see “what goes into making them. It’s exciting.”
On Brand is available to watch on NBC or stream on Peacock. New episodes air Tuesdays at 10 pm and Fridays at 8 pm for the first few weeks.
