Jesse Metcalfe discussed dating Scheana Shay during an episode of the misSPELLING podcast.
The actor best known for playing John the hot gardener on Desperate Housewives as well as the title role in John Tucker Must Die dated the Vanderpump Rules OG two decades ago.
The podcast host, Tori Spelling, mentioned that Scheana name-dropped him in her memoir, My Good Side.
Jesse Metcalf seemingly only has a good side:

Jesse jumped in, “I know. She spoke highly of me, which was nice.” He added, “You’re breaking that news to my girlfriend live, by the way.”
He added that he dated Scheana a “long time ago, 20 years ago.”
Tori wanted clarification. “She said she was dating you. Do you feel like you were dating her?”
“We were dating. Overall, it was pretty brief, but we were seeing each other on a regular basis.”
Tori asked about Jesse and Scheana’s origin story. “We met through a mutual friend who happened to be her boss,” explained Jesse.
“So, her boss and I went to the same gym. He had mentioned that she thought I was handsome, and we ended up going out.”
