Jennifer Aydin threw low-key shade at Danielle Cabral in a very lengthy social media post about paying their hair stylists. The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars have gone back and forth about paying and promoting their hairstylists on the show and on social media. Jennifer wanted to clarify that she has no problem paying people for their services, unlike Danielle who has allegedly not paid or promoted staff members as promised.
Hair modeling:
Jennifer explained that Marissa, a popular hairstylist who does Dolores Catania‘s hair regularly, reached out to her for a modeling gig. “When Marissa asked me to be a model for what I thought was a MasterClass, I did not hesitate to say yes, never even thinking about money. Ask her.”
“It was when Danielle called me to see if I was ”getting paid” that she actually informed me that it was actually a photo shoot to be put on her website to sell her extensions. That’s a lot different.”
“First off, I don’t even wear permanent extensions. I only wear clip ends as needed. Secondly, I already have a go to hairstylist that may one day want me for her own website, which would make sense since she does my hair all the time. And she knows I wouldn’t even think about charging her. Ask her about me.”
Pro bono:
“Marissa has done my hair only once. I paid her in full immediately as she walked out the door in addition to posting her multiple times. Ask her. I didn’t not do it for money, I do have my shit for free anyways because money is not my driving force.” Additionally, “I didn’t want to be on another person’s website that’s not my go-to person.
But if you ever do give that MasterClass Marissa, and you need a model, I’m your girl…. And I would never charge you. I would hope that you can make money with me promoting you so that we may all rise together. As it should be.🙏🏻”
Three hours later, Jennifer continued her overly verbose rant…
Danielle’s alleged cover up:
“She didn’t call to talk about Ashley🙄,” continued Jennifer. I’m the one who brought up Ashley, and that was toward the end of the conversation. What she said about it being a ‘heads up’ call is a bold faced lie and narrative trying to be spun 🙄. It was not. She called to complain about not being paid.”
“What’s-Her-Face” calls me up to ask about doing “this thing with Marissa.” Danielle asked, “Is she paying you?” Jennifer responded, “No. Why? Is she paying you?” Danielle answered, “No,’ which left Jennifer confused. “Ok- so what’s the problem?”
Danielle continued, “She’s gonna have 3 major housewives of her website, and we don’t make no fucking money???” Jennifer inquired, “Doesn’t she do your hair extensions for free? Danielle replies, ‘So I post her!😳🫤🥴.'” Jennifer clapped back at Danielle for not paying her stylist. “Well, move over Kim K!”
Jennifer clarified that Danielle didn’t call her with a “heads up” phone call about being paid. “I get it. It as hard to understand what happened. And there’s actually more that [Danielle] said that gave me the ick. Everyone who knows the whole story knows. And they want to say my head is too big for my body?! Oh please! That head turned into the Jolly Green Giant by the end of that phone call! That ain’t my cup-a-tea. Ashley was the furthest thing from her mind. Good way to spin it though 👍🏼👍🏼.”
