Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow wishes Jen Shah well, but is not interested in the formerly imprisoned housewife returning to Bravo TV‘s hit show.
Lisa was a guest on the Therapuss podcast and shared her current status with Jen.
“I want her to be happy. I want her to be thriving.” Lisa continued, “I want her to be with her children and her husband and her mother and everybody else. I think that’s important. I think she’s really sorry. She did restitution, and she’s paying for her mistake.”
Although Lisa hasn’t seen Jen since she was released from the clink, Jen is still in touch with RHOSLC’s resident DJ. “I think she talks to Meredith [Marks] now and then. She’ll call Meredith randomly, or Meredith will check in with her. But I don’t think anyone has a deep friendship with her.”
Like many of us RHOSLC fans, Lisa can’t help but think about the FBI showing up at the Beauty Lab + Laser looking for Jen. “It was wild. I remember sitting in the van. Her energy was really off. And then when she got that phone call and was like, ‘I have to leave.’ We’re like, ‘OK, what’s going on?’”
“Nobody would have ever in a million years felt like Homeland Security, the FBI, and NYPD were going to show up.”
Jen thinks her former co-star has positive qualities. “I think that Jen has a lot of charisma and she’s really funny. And when you get her on a great day, she’s the most fun person ever. She’s crazy, but she’s so funny. She has this charisma about her, and it’s really natural.”
When it comes to Jen returning to the show, however, Lisa doesn’t think “it’s a good thing for her, any of us.”
