The Valley‘s Jax Taylor seems to be doing damage control before season two’s premiere on April 15th.
In an interview with US Weekly, Jax front-loaded viewers of the atrocities they are about to witness.
*Before we proceed, please note that almost every sentence starts with I or I’m. Our livers are lucky this isn’t a drinking game.*
Jax’s journey:
“I watched the first couple of episodes. It was really rough. I don’t know who that person is. I look disgusting. I give myself the ick just looking at it. I was a shell of a human being. I was very disgusted with myself, very emotional, very sad.”
“But, I’m in a very different place now. I put on a little weight – a healthy weight. I’m really into my fitness right now, my health. I’m trying to take care of my body to make things right with Brittany and take care of our son.”
Jax claimed he “gave” Brittany the house:
“I don’t really believe in fighting and arguing,” Jax said with a straight face. “I don’t want Brittany and I to go to war. I don’t want to fight over dishes and things like that.”
Regarding Cruz’s living situation, “My son lives there. I don’t want to uproot him. I want him to be happy. I don’t want him to go jumping house to house. I don’t. I want it to be a smooth transition.”
Never forget how Jax made Brittany and Cruz Airbnb hop because he refused to leave the house, despite Brittany offering to pay for his rental.
Jax, the statistician:
Brittany and I are “talking today. God knows what’s going to happen tomorrow. Any divorce goes through this. I don’t know who doesn’t. 82% of the nation is divorced, so it happens.
FACT CHECK – Almost 50%Â of all marriages in the United States will end in divorce or separation. Researchers estimate that 41% of all first marriages end in divorce.
