Jax Taylor shares his recent health diagnosis following stay at mental health facility.
On July 30, news broke that The Valley star voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to address his mental health concerns.
In his absence, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay filmed with the cast.
However, Jax is speaking out for the first time following his stay.

Jax’s Message
“A little over a month ago, I checked into an intensive inpatient treatment facility scared of the unknown and what I would find out about myself,” he begins.
“After many years of knowing something was wrong but not knowing exactly what it was, I recently learned that I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD. It’s been a lot to process and an emotional time for me, however I’ve come home to my son with a new found sense of peace.”
Who could forget how Jax terrorized his fellow castmates throughout the eight years he appeared on Vanderpump Rules.
From cheating, lying, and constantly stirring the pot, Ray Charles could see something was off with Mr. Cauchi.
I think it’s great when someone takes the necessary steps to be a better person. I hate to say it, but the timing seems suspicious. For Jax, who has exhibited the same behavior for over a decade, to suddenly want to better himself during The Valley filming?
However, there’s no time like the present to turn over a new leaf. (If true)
He concludes his post saying,
“I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared for the future but my focus is just trying to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday. Mental health is a lifelong battle of not letting it control you but rather you learning to control it.”
“Thank you everyone who has reached out in support and who also shared their own personal struggles with me. Your messages have helped me more than you know.”
I’m curious if this is an attempting to win Brittany Cartwright back, or if something bad is coming down the media pipeline soon.
