Jax Taylor was called out for seemingly buying Instagram followers after he was exposed for an alleged scam involving Cameo and cancer.
In case you missed it, the controversial star of The Valley took to his Instagram story (while he’s allegedly in an in-patient facility) to announce he was back on Cameo making videos for fans. Once his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute heard Jax’s claim that his Cameo proceeds were being donated to a cancer charity, the former Vanderpump Rules stars debunked it.
Receipts:
Instagram’s @BravoBuds (who I affectionately refer to as the Steve Kornacki of Bravo) provided data showing a spike in followers after Jax’s baby mama and former F buddy exposed his latest alleged scam.
For the record, Brittany and Kristen reshared Jax’s IG story on Saturday, August 10th. Jax was gaining less than 100 new followers a day on average for the month until his alleged scam was exposed.
The following Monday, Jax received 25,429 new followers. For the record, he did no press, nor did he call the paparazzi on himself to reclaim his narrative. Jax wants us to believe that over 25k people randomly chose to follow him.
Sure, Jan Jax.

Bravo TV fans slam Jax:
- Him and Raquel ought to start a club for I’ll do anything to be relevant. Stay relevant. Appear relevant. It’s ridiculous. Truly it’s not about mental health for them. It’s about camera time
- That’s so embarrassing 😭 why buy followers when your stats can be checked
- gettin caught lying about donating to a cancer cause does not equate to a spike in followers
