Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador’s eldest daughter, Sophie Beador, has followed in her mom’s footsteps as she works for NBC.
But that doesn’t mean Sophie is going to join the Bravo TV side of NBU-U.
The mother/daughter dynamic:
23-year-old Sophie talked about her current job with Next Gen NYC star Gia Giudice on the Casual Chaos podcast. “It’s been fun to see both sides of NBC.”
Sophie explained that she works “more so the business side” of the entertainment business, in ad sales at NBCUniversal. FYI, NBCUniversal is the parent company of Bravo, home of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
While Sophie loves her mom deeply, she’s not looking to work with her directly. Sophie said joining Bravo TV is not on her radar because of the network’s connection to her mother.
“They’ve asked me, ‘Oh, would you ever think about moving over?’” Sophie revealed. She noted that her mom “definitely gets brought up at work” because she’s on TV screens and in ads that can be seen around the main office space.

Sophie noted that if she did ever work at Bravo, she would “of course” pitch her mom for various campaigns and promos. In fact, Sophie, who lives in New York City, said she has pals who work for the network and do just that.
“I have friends who work on Bravo. They do BravoCon. It’s a lot,” Sophie shared, adding that one of her friends has “pitched my mom for different things,” which has been “fun to hear about.”
In unrelated news, rumors spread last summer that Sophie may be joining the cast of Next Gen NYC. Since Sophie and Gia are friendly, it would make sense!
