Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay opened up about the cosmetic procedures she’s undergone.
Heather toldĀ Bustle she’s invested probably $200,000 into my physical appearance, and it was worth every penny.ā However, she said, āThe pursuit of perfection is never fully possible, just like itās not possible to be fully hair-free.ā
It’s all about the Benjamins:
Once Heather āhad the money and the time,ā she started investing in her physical appearance. āI always said that Iād be so much cuter if I were richer,ā she quipped. āIām richer now, and Iām so much cuter because of it.ā
The Bravolebrity co-owns Beauty Lab + Laser, so she has become the āguinea pig for any new service.ā Heather created a system that allowsĀ women to get BotoxĀ without telling anyone. āI was married to a husband who was fairly frugal, and you just canāt justify preventative Botox for thousands of dollars when itās your husbandās money,ā she explained.
Heather’s work:
Gay shared that she goes in āquarterlyā for her Botox treatments ā but this can change if sheās filming the show. As for her lip filler, Gay only goes āonce or twice a year ā if that.ā
āI also get filler, facials, and laser hair removal,ā Gay said. āAnother treatment I get is Sculptra, which is a collagen stimulator, with big long needles on your face. Itās pretty intense, but itās not an actual filler; itās just a filler stimulant.ā
She estimated Botox at $1,000 per treatment with hair removal costing $580 for a package of eight treatments. The Sculptra was estimated at $4,000 per treatment. Her lip treatments cost around $600. Gay speculated that her bill at Beauty Lab specifically would be about $11,912 for the year with these treatments alone.
Additionally, Heather said she had two nose jobs before appearing onĀ RHOSLCĀ and revealed that she got a āmommy makeover,ā including āa tummy tuck and a boob job,ā during her marriage. She noted thatās why she ālooked so good on the cover ofĀ Us WeeklyĀ magazine in a swimsuit,ā noting that the āfoundationsā had been āsurgically implantedā previously.
āMy ex-husband wanted me to get it, and he paid for it. I think the tummy tuck was probably 18 to 20 grand, and the boob job was 8 to 12 grand,ā she recalled. āBut the prices have gone way up ā itās now around 40 grand for a mommy makeover.ā
āI didnāt realize the currency of beauty, or how I was perceived,” continued Heather. “I think that I was more self-deprecating and less threatening beforehand. My jokes didnāt seem as harsh. My reads didnāt seem as mean. I just didnāt see the difference because I had never looked like this.ā
