Real Housewives of Orange County personality Gina Kirschenheiter took to social media to reflect on her almost five years of sober living.
The post:
“January marks five years no alcohol for me,” began Gina. “It was one of the single most positive shifts I’ve ever made for myself by myself. I have zero regrets. I fully encourage anyone who feels like there is something getting in their way to eliminate it. Let 2026 be your year. ❤️”
Alongside the message, Gina shared a series of photos of herself from her drinking days as Olivia Rodrigo’s “Making the Bed” played in the background. Gina even highlighted her old hair extensions in the video for emphasis on how dark times got.
“An annual reminder … ” text over the video read. “If you don’t like the track you’re on … If you don’t recognize the person in the mirror, if you feel there are things in your way … Preventing you from becoming who you should be … Who you really are … Things that have more control of you than you have of them causing you to make bad decisions and limit your full potential, things that take from you and what you want out of life … if you want more … CHANGE IT.”
She continued, “Eliminate those things and get out of your own way. This year, become the person you’re supposed to be. Because you can … Go get it.”
