Next Gen NYC‘s Gia Giudice plans to move out of Teresa Giudice and Louie Ruelas‘s house “next month.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s eldest dorter told Us Weekly she’s actively looking for her own place.
On her terms:
Gia went to college and moved back into her family’s home. “I think it’s totally normal to live at home for as long as you want. When you are ready to move out and take on that responsibility, it’s totally up to you. I wasn’t rushed. I didn’t have a timeline. My mom isn’t kicking me out of the house.”
“I am apartment hunting right now.” Gia explained, “I’m moving out very soon [in the] next month.”
“I’m excited to really have this alone time and be independent and just have this whole different perspective of, like, going to work and commuting. I’m so excited for that.”
“It’s never a bad thing to live at home.” She told others to “Save your money. Especially now.”
“I did see on the news. Apparently, the house interest rates went down like 2.2. It’s trickling the right way, so maybe in a year, I’ll be ready to buy.”
Six months ago …
Gia Giudice is content living with her mom, Teresa Giudice, and her husband, Louie Ruelas. “I just don’t see the urgency to move out.”
“I know people that stay home until they get married.” She declared, “I make my own money, I do my own thing.”
“I get amazing meals cooked by my mom. And my dog … I love my Bella. Just being home with my family, I honestly love it.”
Still, Gia continued, “As much as I’m living at home, I do my own thing all the time. I’m in and out of the city. I’m working every day. There are days where I barely see my house.”
“And,” she added, “my mom doesn’t want me to move out. I still help around the house with my sisters, Audriana is still home. I don’t know, I’m just in no rush.”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season 4 premieres on Fox Thursday, September 25, at 9 p.m. ET. We’ll have a weekly discussion post (in the Live Discussions tab) for anyone who wants to snark about the show!
