Following the elimination of Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart, the Dancing with the Stars community is sharing their thoughts.
The Sept. 29 episode, Yacht Rock Night, ended with an elimination many of us didn’t see coming.
Taylor and Britt were sent home after earning an 18/30 for their foxtrot to “What a Fool Believes” by The Doobie Brothers.
Technically they weren’t the lowest-scoring couple of the night.
However, America’s votes still weren’t enough to save them from elimination.
Britt’s fellow DWTS pros took to social media after the show to share their support for the freshly departed duo.
THEY WERE ROBBED
“I love you so much @brittbenae you are an absolute star in every way,” Witney Carson shared on her Instagram Stories.
“You and Taylor were magic on that floor every week, & your choreography is always incredible with whomever you have but especially this season. It was a journey cut WAY TOO SOON. I’m sorry and I love you.”
Alan Bersten, who was eliminated during Week 2 alongside his celebrity partner Giada De Laurentiis, also shared a sweet message for his friend.
“Britt you are the sweetest angel and I’m so proud of you. I feel so lucky to share the stage with you, and to call you my friend, and I hope you know how incredible you truly are.”
Love Island USA host and Hanson superfan Ariana Madix also made her feelings known, dropping a disapproving GIF under the official Dancing with the Stars Instagram post announcing the elimination.
Emma Slater shared some love for the pair in the comments as well.
“Britt and Taylor I will miss seeing you dance every week.”
ICYMI: Taylor Hanson is a musician best known as the lead singer, keyboardist, and percussionist of the pop-rock band Hanson, which he formed with his brothers Isaac and Zac.
