Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo reflected on her current legal status ahead of season 11, which will likely air later this year.
In a conversation with PEOPLE, Wendy explained that “The beauty of Housewives is [seeing] us at our highest points and, unfortunately, our lowest points.”
And drama doesn’t discriminate. “It does not escape anyone on this show. And so, this season I’m just living my truth, and you guys will get to see that.”
When describing her freshman season, Wendy spoke in third person. “Wendy was finding herself, getting to know herself.” Wendy added (still in third person), “I think this season of Wendy, she knows who she is, and she knows who her people are, too.”
Last fall, Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie, were booked on criminal fraud charges. Wendy is facing 16 charges – which includes seven felonies – for allegedly making “false/misleading info fraud in excess of $300.”
She’s also facing one misdemeanor count of making a false statement to an officer. Once she got out of the clink, Wendy announced she is “grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans, and colleagues.” Wendy “looks forward to [her] day in court.”
“At this time, [Wendy] respectfully asks for privacy as she focuses on her family and the legal process ahead.” The RHOP star (and her husband) were released after each provided a $50,000 bond.
