Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley shares her side of the story regarding her financial fallout from her split from estranged husband PK Kemsley.
According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Dorit claimed PK “controlled the family finances” throughout their marriage. PK’s approach to the couple’s funds allegedly left her in the dark.
When Dorit tried to ask questions about their money or participate in financial decisions, PK treated her requests as a sign of distrust. Ultimately, that caused her to stop asking questions and rely on her husband to handle the family’s finances.
According to Dorit, PK told her after their 2024 split that he would continue covering the household bills. However, in February 2026 she said that the gas service was facing shutoff because of unpaid bills. Dorit says PK made a payment to prevent the gas from being disconnected, but alleges he never told her that he had otherwise stopped paying the utilities.
According to her filing, the unpaid bills accumulated significant arrears. Dorit claims the situation also negatively affected her credit because the utility accounts were in her name. The RHOBH star alleges that PK has broken “promise after promise” regarding the household expenses.
PK has disputed Dorit’s version of events. Dorit is said to earn more money than her ex, as per PK, through her Bravo TV salary and endorsement deals. Additionally, PK disputes Dorit’s claim that he promised to continue paying her bills indefinitely after moving out of their marital home.
The former couple’s competing claims come as their financial and legal disputes continue to play out following their separation.
