Real Housewives of New York Legacy cast member Dorinda Medley spoke out about her experience filming The Traitors.
SPOILER ALERT:
Dorinda began, being the first player murdered “was like a double whammy.”
“First of all, I was SO EXCITED, so prepared. My outfits were off the charts – so curated.”
“And, not only was I murdered, the one thing I didn’t want was to be murdered first. I bawled; I cried. The worst part is after you’re murdered, you still can’t get your phone and call someone. You have to cry in silence.”
“I hope” The Traitors were threatened by me.
Dorinda explained, “When you do The Housewives, you have a little more control … you have more of a sense of things. But, because we’re all filming [The Traitors] in isolation – in all ways, you don’t see each other. You don’t get a sense of what’s going on.”
“It’s just one of those things. You don’t have control. There’s no rhyme or reason to it. I had no idea. It was stunning to me.”
“I think they should have made me a Traitor. I think people assumed I’d be a Traitor because I am very strong like that; I would have made a great Traitor. “Phaedra [Parks] was such a great player, I was hoping to follow suit.”
Dorinda explained that The Traitors murdered her because she was “too strong.”
The cast:
“I loved seeing Chrishell [Stause]. She’s so tiny.” Also, “I loved seeing Nikki [Garcia]. She was great.”
“I love Bob Harper.” He is “one of my favorite people on and off the show. I knew him before the show.” In fact, Dorinda and Bob Harper had “the best time” together at Teresa Giudice’s wedding.
“I was fascinated by ‘The Survivors.’ That’s a whole different breed of people. They’re almost like Transformers, more than meets the eye. They are there with a directive. They are ready to do what they gotta do! Eat mice, live underground, go naked. They really are very dedicated. It’s an intensity I couldn’t believe.”
