Denise Richards‘s ex, Aaron Phypers, was ordered to vacate the L.A. home that the actress had already moved out of after an LA judge signed off on a request brought by the landlord, John Karan, to evict the former couple.
Legal deets:
The six-bedroom, five-bathroom, 6,985-square-foot home in Calabasas was granted possession to John by the judge.
Records said the lease had been forfeited by Denise and Aaron due to their nonpayment.
John demanded $84,000 in back rent in his lawsuit, but the judge has yet to rule on damages.
ICYMI:
John Karan filed a suit against the actress and her unemployed ex on November 7th. They had failed to pay rent for months. The RHOBH personality and Aaron leased the home in 2020 and agreed to pay $12,000 per month in rent.
While moved out of the home in late 2023 and rented multiple townhomes for herself, Aaron continued to live in the Calabasas rental. In fact, he moved his parents and brother in with him.
Aaron’s running out of money:
The eviction comes days after Aaron filed court docs pleading for spousal support from the Wild Things actress.
He claimed his monthly expenses totaled over $100,000. The breakdown included $15,000 on rent, $1,500 on health care, $4,800 on groceries and items for the house, $2,000 on eating out, $3,200 on laundry and cleaning, and various other bills.
Mark Gross, Denise’s new lawyer, filed court docs on December 10. The actress wants the judge who granted her a restraining order against Aaron to be the judge to determine any spousal support.
