The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann‘s Thanksgiving was “awkward” after her co-star Jessi Draper exposed what fruity pebbles really means the day prior.
Despite the discomfort, Demi made light of the situation. The MomToker took to TikTok to address the cereal revelation to lighten the mood.

“It’s an awkward topic, I’m not going to lie,” Demi told Entertainment Tonight. “I had to go to Thanksgiving the next day. It was not ideal.”
“It’s out there, and it’s going to be talked about enough. I was able to handle the comments and everything with just more levity, which was nice.”
“Fruity Pebbles has been a topic that we’ve all teased and talked about for so long. As much as it was a private moment, and we never planned on sharing this ourselves, we have nothing else left to do other than just own it and have fun with it.”

Jessi clapped back at claims Demi made by revealing what fruity pebbles actually refers to.
“Since she wants to be petty and be an asshole, I think I am just going to go ahead and say that grandpa Bret likes to drink her piss like it is dirty soda.”

Demi responded with a statement via her own Instagram Stories. She confirmed Jessi’s revelation was true. Demi insisted that what she and her husband “did one-time behind closed doors, was a consensual and private experience in [their] marriage.”
She told Jesse this information two years ago “in confidence.” According to Demi, the only reason why Jessi chose to come forward with fruity pebbles now was to distract from the fact that “her own affair has come to light.”
Back in May, Jessi said she would “never be friends” with Demi again. “And I’m a pretty forgiving person. It’s a lot for me to say that.”
