Tori Spelling‘s ex-husband, Dean McDermott, championed his baby mama after she was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars. ICYMI, Donna Martin may have graduated, but Tori Spelling didn’t make it to the third week of season 33 of DWTS.

Dean supported the Beverly Hills 90210 icon after her early elimination:
“I had to come out of my self-imposed Instagram exile for this one,” began the former star of Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood and Tori And Dean: Cabin Fever.
Speaking directly to his children’s mom, Dean spoke with admiration. “Tori Spelling, you did an amazing job. I’m so proud of you. You put on two beautiful performances on Dancing With the Stars. I saw how hard you worked and I know the injuries you had that you worked through.”
“Your dedication and your work ethic are amazing. I actually thought Dancing With the Stars was a dance competition and not a popularity contest, but, hey! It’s not the first time I’ve been wrong.”
“The lesson that you taught our children and you exemplified to our children is that you can do anything you put your mind to. It was incredible and without parallel.”
“What a beautiful, beautiful message. Again, I’m just so proud of you,” concluded Dean.
