Former Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Crystal Kung Minkoff isn’t holding space for Teddi Mellencamp‘s hypocrisy.
In an interview with US Weekly, Crystal shared how her podcasting style is different than Teddi’s.
Crystal doesn’t like cherry-picking topics on podcasts:
โI donโt think itโs a requirement for a podcast to be open and vulnerable. Every podcast is different.” ICYMI, Crystal co-hosts the Humble Brag podcast with Cynthia Bailey and Teddi co-hosts Two T’s In A Pod with Tamra Judge.
Crystal doesn’t think all podcasters need to be held to the same standard, but because the entire Two T’s pod is celebrity gossip, she needs to be more open and honest about her life. “But, do I think Teddi should be required? Yes.โ
โI think if Teddiโs gonna come after everybody, she should open up more. My thing is, I donโt really care personally, but I donโt do that to people. Thatโs not expected of me. I am super honest and open in general.โ
Teddi continues to ask for privacy for her kids sake, but she doesn’t give that grace to others, and Crystal pointed it out. โI care about her children, so I donโt want that at the end. But I do hope that she adjusts herself in the future, handling other peopleโs personal affairs. Thatโs what I hope for her. I donโt need her to expose any of it. Thatโs their personal life. But I want her to have a little more grace for other people. Thatโs what I would like.โ
Teddi wants privacy:
Regarding her affair with a married man, Teddi held back from her listeners. โAt this point, Iโm obviously only gonna share what I shared on social media. I donโt even know how to say this eloquently. But, Iโm just trying my hardest to make sure that my kidsโ privacy is protected right now and that weโre able to have all of these conversations.โ
Mellencamp acknowledged that she often talks about other Bravo starsโ lives. At the same time, she planned to keep the discussion of her own split to a minimum because of her children.
โBeing somebody who recaps other peopleโs things, [itโs like], โDonโt be a hypocrite, Teddi,โโ she said. โBut when it does come to this and children, I think thereโs just room โฆ itโs a little bit different than getting into โJen Aydin reveals text exchange with Andy Cohen.โโ
