Legendary 80’s actor Corey Feldman was hospitalized overnight after he experienced a medical emergency on a flight from Chicago to Los Angeles.
A rep for the actor gave PEOPLE a health update. “Doctors ruled out gallstones as the cause behind his medical emergency.”
TMZ was first to report that Corey was rushed to a hospital in L.A. immediately upon landing at LAX. The License to Drive actor was met by paramedics at the gate. The outlet reported that Corey felt sick on the flight and was examined by a doctor who happened to be on board.
Corey had just wrapped a run of shows celebrating the 40th anniversary of 1986’s coming-of-age classic, Stand by Me, to Instagram. The actor stepped out with his costars Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton for the event in Chicago.
His Instagram post noted that they might add more dates in the coming months to celebrate the classic Rob Reiner film.
ICYMI, Corey competed on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars in 2025. Last fall, he opened up about his short-lived time competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy on Gurvey’s Law Radio Show, calling the off-screen drama “toxic.”
The Goonies actor was partnered with season 33 winner Jenna Johnson. Her brother-in law, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, put a damper on his DWTS experience. On a podcast, Maks alleged that Jenna had issues working with Corey. According to Corey, Jenna was a solid partner.
“There was a lot of stupidity in the mudslinging that went on behind the scenes,” Corey began. “There, everything was great.”
“But the behind-the-scenes drama and BS that people throw around that show, I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s the worst, most toxic.”
