The former host of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Chris Harrison, is officially back in the business of helping people find love.
FOX Nation announced that Harrison will host Chris Harrison’s The Vow, a new six-episode dating series.
The series centers on 30-year-old Jace Cates, who will date 10 women hoping to find a relationship that leads to marriage.
Rather than focusing solely on chemistry, The Vow promises to put compatibility, communication, faith, family and long-term goals to the test. The contestants will participate in curated dates and real-world challenges designed to explore whether they can build a life together once the cameras stop rolling.
Chris Harrison, who spent nearly two decades as the face of The Bachelor franchise, is returning to the relationship genre with a noticeably different approach.
“I’m so excited to be back helping people find love.” The series was inspired by what he described as a “faith-driven renaissance” happening across America and called The Vow an effort to create an authentic dating show centered on lasting relationships.
The host will also encourage contestants to walk away if they no longer believe a relationship has a genuine future by putting the focus on finding a lasting partnership rather than simply making it to the end of the season.
Adding a familiar face to the mix, The Bachelor success story Sean and Catherine Lowe will appear during the season to share their experience and offer advice about building a lasting marriage.
The Vow debuts November 11 with episodes released weekly.
