Former host of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise, Chris Harrison, is returning to TVĀ for the first time in almost five years.
His new project is another dating show … Ā this time focused on ātraditional marriage.ā
The former face of Bachelor Nation shared a casting callĀ for the upcoming (and currently unnamed) series on his Instagram page.
A new era:
āItās time to help people find love again,ā Chris wrote. āNow casting.ā
The announcement itself featured a picture of the returning reality show host alongside the call for applicants seeking a ātraditional marriage.ā
āA prominent streaming service is casting single men and women (21+) who want a traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values,ā the post read.
āWeāre looking for singles who believe in clear roles, long-term commitment, and building a life together.” Essentially, they want people who are “dating with real intention.”
The most dramatic twist in Bachelor history …
Chris opened up about his new reality TV hosting role with TMZĀ shortly after the casting call was announced.
āI will be coming back to TV to do what means the most to me: helping people find love. I want to do a show that is actually about finding that true love.ā
Throwing low-key shade at the Bachelor franchise, Chris continued, āI think thatās been lost, and I think we all want it back. Will there be drama along the way? Absolutely, but in the end it will always be about love.ā
The former Bachelor host added that the response to his casting announcement āhas been incredible.ā The way fans are ātalking, discussing, [and] debating love and relationshipsā is what āgreat reality TV is about.ā
