Selling Sunset star Chelsea Lazkani’s estranged husband, Jeff Lazkani, is finally breaking his silence.
In a rare move, Jeff shared a lengthy statement on his private Instagram account on December 4, which Us Weekly obtained.
According to him, the past two years have been brutal.
“I have sat idly by for the past two years and witnessed misinformation about me, my marriage and my life,” he wrote.
“I’ve been hounded by the press, unwilling to give a statement that can be manipulated into more untruths.”
Jeff Enters the Chat
Jeff says he hit a breaking point after seeing “twisted comments” and what he calls false narratives circulating in the media.
And while the public may have watched the breakup play out on Netflix, Jeff suggests the story fans saw wasn’t the full picture.
He reflects on the early days with Chelsea, calling their relationship a “true love story,” and credits their marriage for the “two most special humans on earth” — their children, Maddox (born January 2019) and Melia (born November 2020).
The former couple now share 50/50 custody and live only a few blocks apart.
Jeff also pushed back on claims made during the Selling Sunset reunion, clarifying that he does support his children financially.
“I will always look out for the best interest of my children,” he noted.
But one of his biggest takeaways? He wants people to remember that reality TV… isn’t exactly reality.
“Let’s just say that my marriage with Chelsea ended long before any of the allegations came to a reality TV show, for our own personal reasons,” he shared, making it clear the split didn’t stem from infidelity.
As for where things stand now, Jeff insists he and Chelsea are in a “healthy co-parenting relationship” and have both happily moved on with their lives.
“When everything is boiled down, it is all about our kids.”
ICYMI: Chelsea filed for divorce in March 2024 after seven years of marriage.
