Southern Charm‘s Craig Conover said Charley Manley “love bombed” him during the season 11 reunion, and she’s not having it.
Craig, the story teller:
Us Weekly got a preview of the Sewing Down South owner claiming that Charley led him on. “I was love-bombed. I was.”
Craig turned to Charley and popped off in the exclusive preview. “You said all of this stuff for me. You were FaceTiming [me] from your friends’ weddings. And [then] started to be the talk of the town. But then I was like, ‘Oh, my God, that’s what love-bombing is.”
Charley, who was seemingly visibly frustrated by Craig’s accusations, responded, “No.”
“There was some future-planning from you,” Craig continued. Host Andy Cohen asked Charley point-blank, “Charley, did you love-bomb Craig?” According to Charley, “I do not feel like I love-bombed him.”
Craig claimed that Charley “made it seem to me like we were going to make it out of filming.” Additionally, he alleged that Charley was extensively chatting with him off camera – while claiming she wasn’t speaking to anyone else.
“Charley and I were stil hanging out. Finally, Austen [Kroll] sat me down in Vegas. He was like, ‘Dude, whatever she’s telling you that she’s not talking to someone, I met him. He’s real.’” Allegedly, Charley “brought [her man] to the bar and said, ‘I’m in love.’”
Craig claimed that Salley Carson also pulled him aside and told him Charley was allegedly “talking to two other guys.”
“Then I asked you, you took my hand and said, ‘I am not talking to anyone else,’” Craig claims.
Charley called Craig out:
“I swear to God that did not happen,” declared Charley.
She was quick to deny that she kept her conversations with other men from Craig, telling him, “I never said I was not talking to anyone.”
She argued that she and Craig “were not together” and they only went on “two dates.” But, Craig alleged that was just what was featured on camera. “We would always go out. I was strung on.”
Craig thinks that if Salley hadn’t interfered, he and Charley would’ve had a chance at a real relationship. “Up till Mexico, the way that you talked to me made it sound like you had feelings for me. I really thought we had real feelings.” Craig continued, “I really thought we were something more.”
“I had every intention of continuing to hang out with you more,” confirmed Charley. “Then, in Mexico, I decided I didn’t want to do that anymore.”
