Caroline Brooks agreed with Adriana De Moura in that Gizelle Bryant is rude, but her claim against the Real Housewives of Potomac personality took a sinister turn when she mentioned her race.
How it started:
Real Housewives of Miami’s Adriana was asked who the “rudest” housewife she’s encountered. She called out Gizelle for being rude when they shared a car in NYC.
Well. Adriana’s comment got back to Gizelle and she clapped back. “Harpo, who dis woman?”
That’s when Caroline Brooks entered the chat. “[Gizelle] is rude!”
The convo pivoted to a conversation about Gizelle’s ethnicity.
How it’s going:
Caroline continued, “[Gizelle] yelled at me in front of my mom at BravoCon because I said she’s mixed race.”
“I didn’t know she claimed to be completely African American. I didn’t know her or watch her show.” She continued, “I just said that she’s clearly biracial or multiracial. I said, ‘Ah yes, the mixed-race lady from Potomac.'”
“I said the same things about Robyn [Dixon] and she was super nice. It didn’t bother her as much. She just explained to me that growing up people would say it was problematic for them for a lot of reasons and they do identify as black. I said, ‘Ok. I understand’ and moved on.”
“But, Gizelle went crazy.”
The former Real Housewives of Dubai personality alleged, “My mom had to literally stand between us. She’s RUDE.”
Caroline doubled down on her statement about Gizelle’s racial background. “I would love to see her percentage of African DNA vs European if she’s willing to do a little test. 🤷🏾♀️”
