Summer House stars Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke have evolved from friends to lovers, to fiancées, to enemies, back to friends … and now to each other’s wingman.
Almost three years after Carl ended their engagement, the Bravolebrities told PEOPLE they’ve reached a place where they can offer a little dating advice along the way. He revealed, “We’re trying to help wingman [for each other] too.” Lindsay agreed, “Yeah, a little bit. I’ve given advice along the way.”
Ultimately, according to Carl, it comes down to “celebrating each other’s singleness” and supporting whoever may come into the other person’s life. “I want her to be respected and find someone and have fun and be treated well. Of course, I care about whoever that is, so I’m going to be there to be supportive.”
Carl issued a friendly warning to Lindsay’s potential suitors. “And if he f*cks up, we’ll have some words with him,” he joked. “Yeah, exactly. Don’t f*ckup.”
For Carl, being able to have those conversations with Lindsay is particularly meaningful given everything they’ve been through together. “I care a lot about this person,” he said. “She’s been in my life for a long time. The fact that we’re where we are right now, it means a lot to me.”
“And it’s been really just healthy, and I love the chapter that we’re on right now,” he continued. “For real.” Lindsay agreed. “We’re enjoying it. It’s been really fun.”
Lindsay and Carl are taking a similar approach to meeting potential partners, as neither has ever used a dating app. “I never have,” Radke insisted when asked if that was still the case. Lindsay added, “I never have either.” Carl added, “We’re not dating app people. I’d rather meet someone organically or through a mutual friend or just in our lives.”
