Candiace Dillard Bassett showed support for Kenya Moore after Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie Brit Eady threatened to brandish a “pistol” against her.
The Real Housewives of Potomac alumni took to social media to comment on what went down with Brit and Kenya.
Candiace is Team Twirl:
“They always want to try and humble you when you’re smarter than them and their show ponies.”
“Kenya deserves better,” declared the Drive Back singer. “That’s all I’m goin’ to say about it.”
RHOA fans reacted:
- it’s okay soon as kenya gone them views are going to tank
- How did she not immediately get fired for repeatedly threatening Kenya with a pistol
- I love you Kandi girl but Kenya is no victim. She is the Gizelle of RHOA. Vile human being. Revenge p*rn is a crime. Saying I have a gun doesn’t exactly equate to a crime.
- I am not a Kenya fan but Brit made an issue with her. Periodt. And she did threaten Kenya.
ICYMI:
On the March 30th episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, the tension mounted between Brit and Kenya.
Brit stormed out of the cast event yelling about Brooklyn’s mom. “Kenya, her little ditzy-ass. Like, b*tch play that sh*t in front of the cameras! Don’t play that with me. I don’t play them games!”
“I got whip, motherf*cking pistol, everything!”
“This is real life. I don’t play them type of games.”
For the record, before this scene played out, Brit can be heard saying, “I still got my pistol.” She threatened to use a weapon against twice on camera.
Kenya responded to the scene:
The scene stealer wanted to make it clear she didn’t feel protected. “[I am] the longest-standing RHOA member, [but was] threatened with whips and pistols by a newcomer 3 weeks into filming.”
“Seeing this obsession play out is scary. I wanted protection and assurances that the threats would be taken seriously. I may be strong but I’m not bulletproof.”
