Brittany Cartwright might be “single as a Pringle,” but she’s still very much legally married to Jax Taylor.
The Valley star revealed on the Boyfriend Material podcast with host Harry Jowsey that her divorce from Jax has yet to be finalized.
“I’ve been single for over two years now,” Brittany said on the Jan. 27 episode, adding, “Hopefully divorced within a month.”

The two met in Las Vegas in 2015, between Seasons 3 and 4 of Vanderpump Rules.
They later tied the knot on June 29, 2019, at the Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky—a wedding that played out during Season 8 of VPR.
In February 2024, the former couple announced their separation on their podcast, When Reality Hits.
While the news broke in February, Brittany clarified that she had already moved out of their shared home on Jan. 24, 2024, citing the need to prioritize her mental health.
According to Brittany, the most frustrating part of the divorce process has been how often it’s been delayed.
The holdups stemmed from a mix of issues, including Jax not submitting paperwork on time, scheduling conflicts, and occasional document issues on her end.
“Eventually I’ll know exactly what he has in his account,” she shared, noting that the two never had a joint bank account.
At this point, Brittany says everything has been submitted.
