The Valley‘s Brittany Cartwright was a guest on the Boyfriend Material podcast to update listeners about her life and her status with her ex, Jax Taylor.
Brittany’s dating loife:
“I’m single as a pringle,” announced Brittany. “I’ve been single for over two years now.”
Clarifying her marital status, Brittany and Jax are still separated. “Hopefully divorced within a month,” included Brittany. “It keeps getting pushed and pushed and pushed.”
“I had to work on myself a lot,” continued Brittany. “And I’m just kind of like, I don’t have to be in a relationship. I don’t, like, need a man for anything really. I’ve got my own house, my own money. I’ve got everything. I can do everything on my own.”
“But I do want a partner eventually, just to have fun with and enjoy life with. But it’s not like I have to have a boyfriend.”
Co-parenting with Jax:
“It’s a lot, it’s up and down. It depends on the day, it depends on the mood.”
Regarding Cruz, Brittany makes sure she gets “everything done.”
“Cruz comes first. No matter what. [Jax] feels the same way. Things are better, but they’re definitely a lot of hard moments. It’s hard whenever you can’t get along with somebody to also co-parent with them. So I’m really trying my best. I’m trying so hard for my son.”
Re: Jax’s debts:
Shout out to Harry Jowsey for asking the hard-hitting question, “Did he ever pay you back for the mortgage?”
“Nope,” answered Brittany. “It’s his taxes on top of the mortgage. My mortgage is fine, but the extra stuff that he took out, I am now having to pay for monthly. Hopefully, we’ll figure that out with a divorce.”
What to expect for season 3 of The Valley:
“It’s going to be great, as always. There’s a lot of funny moments.”
“Last season was so dark. It was very, very dark last season, and it’s not going to be that dark this season.”
“But, we still have plenty of drama. There are a lot of hilarious things that we did this season that I can’t wait for people to watch. It’s going to be great.”
