Brittany Cartwright clapped back at her (almost) ex-husband’s Instagram smear campaign.
The Valley star uploaded “a little slice of life” photo dump on Sunday, Aug. 16, sharing sweet moments with her son, Cruz.
Not surprisingly, the comments lit up with praise for the autism mama in light of Jax Taylor’s five-slide rant about Brittany that he shared the day prior.
Jax alleged that Brittany doesn’t have their son enrolled in school and “never followed the doctor or school recommendations” related to Cruz’s autism diagnosis.
“Going on your podcast about how important early intervention is when you have done nothing but neglected Cruz’s needs is sick you are a joke just wait until I speak and show all the receipts and people hear the truth,” Jax wrote on Aug. 15 in a since-deleted post.

However, Britt responded to a comment referencing Jax’s shade.

“I’ve had Cruz in special therapies since he was 2 years old. I hired a Therapeutic companion to go to preschool with him,” she began, adding that she secured Cruz’s IEP plan herself.
Brittany added that this is simply Jax projecting onto her.
“This is projection coming from him and it’s so sad he would put personal stuff about our son like that on social media even tho he deleted it immediately because it is full of lies.”
Brittany maintains that she’s “a good mom” and “Cruz is thriving.”

Brittany and Jax announced their separation in February 2024 after nearly five years of marriage, listing their official date of separation as Jan. 24, 2024.
Brittany filed for divorce in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences.
The divorce has yet to be finalized, as paperwork delays have dragged out the process.
