Selling Sunset‘s Bre Tiesi was “not surprised” Chrishell Stause quit the show because “she’s threatened it every season.”
Bre, who joined the cast in season 6, revealed Chrishell’s been “threatening [to quit] since I got there,” Bre told Us Weekly.
Chrishell is all talk, according to Bre:
Regarding Chrishell claiming to quit, Nick Cannon’s partner thinks she is bluffing. “I would be surprised if she actually does go. I don’t really care if she’s there or not.”
Bre continued, “She’s irrelevant to my life, personally. Hopefully she finds something better for her mental state so she can find some peace, and she can move on and not be so miserable.”
“I don’t think anyone really knows why she’s acting the way she’s been acting lately or why she’s been coming at everybody. I always say at the end of the day, if people are moving like that, it’s usually something personal that they’re going through. There are so many things that people go through that account for why they act the way they do, and we don’t always consider that.”
“I’m not the most empathetic person, but I am very logical. It’s obviously gone to the pits of hell. It’s just way too dark, and it’s way too heavy. [Selling Sunset’s] not the show I signed up for.”
“I was here for the catty drama and the surface-level stuff. Stuff like, ‘You took my client and that’s my seat.’ I’m not Candace Owens. I don’t want to talk about politics. This is not to me. This is all ridiculous, and it’s unwarranted.”
Bre thinks Selling Sunset lost the plot:
“We’re here to make entertainment, show fashion, show the beauty of L.A and our clients and the luxury,” explained Bre. “I don’t give a f*ck who your partner is [or] who you choose to vote for. Religion, politics, and all of these things are personal. I don’t believe they need to be discussed [on a reality show]. Some people do, and that’s fine. That’s their choice, but that is not mine.”
“I don’t want to be a part of a show that continues this narrative. I’ve said that, and everyone on the cast has said that. We are really trying to draw the line. I feel like if the one consistent person here for all of those narratives is not going to be around, then we’ll be successful.”
Looking ahead:
Bre confirmed that she is “definitely” interested in returning to Selling Sunset.
“I’ve had plenty of seasons where I was on the fence but last season was good for me,” she said. “At this point I’m so deep that what’s the point of leaving now when I’m already here?”
Selling Sunset is currently streaming on Netflix.
