Bozoma Saint John wishes her former costar well as she exits the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
ICYMI: on the morning of the season 15 finale, Garcelle Beauvais announced she was departing the show after five years.
We later learned Garcelle’s announcement was not “news” to the cast as she left the reunion early.
Jennifer Tilly and Sutton Stracke were the only two Beverly Hills housewives to show support in the actress’ comment section.
However, Bozoma did bid her colleague adieu…in a buried Instagram carousel.
“For your pioneering, bravery, and grace in 5 seasons of RHOBH….well done,” Boz begins.
“I wish we’d had more time together on this platform to continue showing the world that both of us can exist in the same space with different offerings and different opinions (and besties!), but still find a way to resolve our differences without tearing the world apart.”
The newbie is facing major online backlash for not showing more support to Garcelle — considering they both are the only current black BH Housewives. Fans also called Bozoma out for not defending Garcelle when Erika Jayne threw shade at her exit on Watch What Happens Live.
“You are leaving on your terms, and while I’m disappointed by your exit, it is commendable. I’m wishing you even greater success.”
Just because Garcelle and Bozoma both share the same skin tone, doesn’t mean they have to develop a blind loyalty toward one another. Though, it’s a nice thought.
I do wish there were more opportunity for them to bond, but that’s not the hand we were dealt.
